Hey again everyone! Can you believe that summer is coming to an end? For the past few months everyone has been earning and spending summer bash tokens! We’ve loved watching everyone swim around at spawn and also enjoy the Summer Bash we threw earlier this summer. However, the fun isn’t over yet! We have two more incredible events coming up to wrap up the summer!
MouseHunt 2022
Saturday, August 13 at 7:00pm PST 7:00-7:30 | Team Registration & Game Prep 7:30-9:00 | MouseHunt
A year ago we had our very first MouseHunt! It’s an intense team competition that is a mix of a scavenger hunt, the amazing race, and an escape room throughout the resort! You work as a team to solve a variety of clues ranging in difficulty. We learned a lot from MouseHunt 2021 and have made some great quality of life changes for this year. For MouseHunt 2022 you will have an hour and a half to complete as many clues as possible. Your team will be given a map with the location of all the clues as well as their difficulty level. More difficult clues award more points, but they also take more time. Here’s the tricky part, there is not enough time to complete all the clues. In addition, only party warp is enabled and it is on a five minute cool down. So creating a plan is essential to winning! Everyone has had a blast during testing and we can’t wait for you to compete against each other. A couple more details so you can prepare:
- Teams can have up to four players (the more minds the better!)
- Make sure to identify a team leader who submits your answers. Multiple submissions will result in penalties to your score!
- You must stay together the entire game, no splitting up!
- Only party warp is enabled and it is on a five minute cooldown.
- If you get stuck there is a hint system and friendly staff will be there to help!
- However, use them wisely as it will cost you time to visit Mousehunt Central & you will have to wait in a queue for your turn!
- We do recommend hopping in a VC together and finding an online collaborative whiteboard that you can work on together as you work on clues. Something like Webwhiteboard or Figjam.
That’s all for now! See you at the hunt 🙂
