It’s been quite an action packed month

Halloween Event Follow-Up

What are your thoughts so far? good? bad?

Net positive people loved it
Different but good
Felt it was missing something more
Felt like the quest rewards should have been a bit more rewarding
Will definitely have a gooood amount more for December, more than what we did last year
Dislikes:

Maybe more then 2 meet and greet areas?
Want bigger M&G events
Maybe improved token chances from npcs
The manor was nice, but it felt cramped at times

Economy Overhaul Update

Based on the feedback form responses, lowering prices of things and boosting ways you earn $$

Strong focus on creating more ways for you to passively earn coins

Lower Larry Locker prices (already live)

Starting at 5000 KC for a locker

Stacy & Katie Pricing Rework

Increasing their min + max
No more checking the chart to know when the best days to sell are!! Actually randomized now
Will look to add a llama person

Moe Keys / Sans - cheaper keys but limit on purchases (won’t sell to you if you have more than x amount of keys in your balance, most likely 20 but could change)

Limit to amt of keys purchased per day will remain the same
Not controversial at all gg

Minigames + parkour, 2x the participation reward, 3x winner reward, doubled on weekends

2x daily quest rewards and increased weekly rewards (already live)

Popup NPC Character Hide & Seek

First person to find the character somewhere on the map gets a reward (still unsure if it’ll be riddles or coordinates)

Drop parties return

First Ride of the Day Bonus 2x multiplier (may change to first 3 rides of the day) + will stack with weekend multi

The max multiplier will be upped from 10x to 12x

Planned to go out pretty soon, update will also include Trader Tam and (most likely) Vote Shop,

Hub Got a bit of a refurb

Shoutout Slinx for going ham with updating signs throughout the map and making things look 1000x better

Buzz

Rides like Buzz and Pirates that are down rn are getting compleeeete overhauls, past versions entirely deleted rebuilt from the ground up with both code and build

Pirates

Wants to auction off incredibly rare items (like 1 of 1 or 1 of 3) for things like hotels release. Look at the fancy modern art painting, there will only be 1 in existence:

Retro will be merged into main server to connect chats, even hotels will have linked chat

This also means DVC will get their own copy of retro

Changed how M&G fastpasses work, text is different and won’t randomly let you use it for an old day now, really clear what day it’s for now

Monsters Inc

Very buggy tech (like screens) but it’s cool when it works

What did you think of the new tech?

Unfortunately can’t work around shader packs, just how Minecraft works. If we find a way around it we’ll definitely implement it
Would be a good way to tease screens and what we can do with them. A lot more applications for them in the coming months
Had joked in the past that Star Tours would be the first release of screens, but so hard to find good source footage so it got backlogged which is how Monsters Inc. became the first

Bug Hunt

Cam started bug hunting a bunch of old untouched bugs, expect some larger changelogs over the next while

trying to make room for more upcoming bugs for the big updates

We’re trying to be more speedy with ticket responses

We have a dedicated ticket team, they’re cool

We’ll open tickets for you if you submit a bug report about something we need more info about, we’re going to try and contact via DM’s less often

When will Trader Tam arrive?

Soonish

How close is Downtown Disney to being finished? When will the Wetzel Pretzel open? Will there be a Sephora and Jamba Juice like in real life?

No comment on specifics of progression and what will be included, but definitely more focused on the inside of the parks than the surrounding area

Will Pin Hoarder ever get his big Galaxy's Edge cave back/will he ever get other locations? Also, related to that, will we ever get even a small follow up to the Pin Hoarder lore?

There will always be more pin hoarder lore, always working on some parts of it. Might get his cave back or get upgraded to a new home

Pin hoarder getting a cave on Tom Sawyer Island would be pretty cool

Will Galaxy’s Edge ever get a remodel? Any sneak peek?

No sneak peeks but is definitely an area that could get a little bit of an update at some point in time, not something we’re super focused on at the moment

When will Scooters and mobility vehicles get added?

Cam says “I hate you all” + you’ll get your mobility scooters someday it just hurts his brain. Haven’t touched scooters in 13 months

Can we get an updated ImagineFun 2.0 Release Schedule showing new Phases to give us a general idea of what's to come and what has been reshuffled?

Anything that hasn’t been released yet has been reshuffled, focusing in a lot more on things we feel are more relevant and provide more value, have sidelined some of the stuff from the original release plan that didn’t feel as important to make sure content we’re focusing our time on benefits the server + all of you

Do you guys plan on adding a Player Visibility setting in the future for people that wanna record videos without players (me lol) OR for people who wanna reduce lag for M&G's or just in general?

No plans currently, doesn’t mean we never will

Will the Monorail be one of the attractions coming after hotels?

Yes at some point, no timeline. Cam has never once looked at implementing the monorail but it will be added

Are there any news on Autotopia and Soarin? Will Soarin be a digital screen or an actual physical retelling like GOTG?

No news but still too far out on Soarin to know if we’ll do screens or physical, would guess that we’ll do screens because building out all of that would be painful

If IASW opens anytime in the future, or whenever that may be, will there be new in-game merch for the ride and will there be a shop for it in its iconic shop right at the exit?

There will definitely be IASW merch, will try to make it really funny

Block of TNT

There should be an NPC outside IASW until it releases where you can pay 100kc to blow up a chunk of it

Are there any updates on Jungle Cruise? Will it be just like Storybook Canal Boats/Grizzly River Rapids? (in terms of how the boats will be) and will there be storytellers/skippers for the boats on Jungle Cruise too?

Do not plan to change who is a JC skipper/adding any new skippers, but believe we are going to add cinematic camera to JC for release

Will the screen tech that was used on Monsters Inc be able to achieve screens in other unopened rides? (Midway Mania, Star Tours, ROTR, Smuggler’s Run, Soarin’, etc)

Very possible, will have to wait and see. Definitely more we can do with that tech that we haven’t showcased yet

Will the wondrous firework show come back before you change it to Christmas?

Yes, finally took out Halloween show last night and will probably have a few days of downtime before kicking back into standard shows before holidays

When does the christman Deco go up.?

We haven’t landed on a time yet. Will be on Dec 1st or before that, not later. And yes, snow server will be back

Any plans for new items in the works for Christmas event or any update you can give us about hotels? More questions: any idea on a newswire? I really miss those

On hotels: in the works again, took entire room storage system from hotels to make park overlays system for Slinx. Definitely still going to run a beta first to work out some final quirks, but are nearing the point

Newswire: not sure, don’t know when we’ll run the next one. Have kind of replaced it with this monthly call, as they take a lot of energy and time to produce and take away some time from active production. Right now, calls are a better way for us to talk to you guys about it, also think it’s cool to have more of a discussion

Any plans to allow us to remove autographs from items?

We’ll add it at some point yes

will the MadHatter shop be updated?

Probably at some point, will likely get a big change when the global shop rework hits

Is there a plan to allow us to get hats signed with our username? or just any new hats?

Always going to be adding new hats, really cool new hat Slinx has been wearing. No plans to allow you to change the names of your hats

Any talks about having a museum for past events kinda like the musicals? Could have a picture of the area and items that were released? More of is this a hard no or a little later down the line?

Would be really hard to visualize just because of the amount of space it would take, so not sure

When is the Adventure Treehouses/Swiss Family Treehouse going to be completed and is there any updates on it?

No updates sorry

In NOS, there is an area between the HM merch NPC and POTC merch NPC that has a staircase (marked by blue clay) leading to two birch doors that have a “SOON” sign behind it. Is the area with the staircase based off of an area that’s secret irl in Disneyland NOS or is it IF based? Because it looks like it’s connected to Club 33 but idk.

Cam is not the one who put the signs there so he has no clue, but will ask and if we remember next time will get back to you

Do all storybook tellers have the same chance to appear? Since some feel way more uncommon than others

Yes they all have the same chance, except one is a secret storyteller that can only be spawned in a special way 😱

Still in the works, actually getting progressed and hoping to release before end of year

Cool system proposed as a replacement for trade, want to change it to trade offers where you can send an offer to a person and they can choose to reject or accept it

Any update on Red Car Trolley and Main Street Electrical Parade?

Red Car Trolley not even getting refurbed, just has to be brought back

No comment on Main Street Electrical Parade, not a focus at the moment

Any update on Mickey Minnies runaway railway?

No update, the rule is that we don’t give timelines for new rides and stuff!! Won’t give updates when asked questions on them, but will give you leaks when we have them

when can we expect the new round of accepted trainees to be announced?

Probably not for a bit, just hired a few

We’re moving forward with 3 folks and figuring out how we’re going to progress on those before announcing anything! Also hoping to reach out to more about potentially adapting their ideas into dailies.

Hate to ask, but is there a reason why titles have been pushed back to such a late release date when it was announced it late july?

Aren’t 100% certain what we want to do with titles yet, original ideas didn’t quite play out the way we want and are trying to figure out how to make titles a utility feature

Will item rarity get an update because some super rare old items have like common tags?

If you have an issue with the rarities of the items, open a ticket and we can figure it out
