Halloween Screams Fireworks Return

  • This Friday!
  • Some updated visuals and effects
  • Follows the pathing a lot better to the actual one, other cool niche improvements for the real firework nerds

Provider issues

  • Over the last few weeks there’s been a very large scale DDOS attack affecting a lot of MC providers — we aren’t the target, but essentially our upstream providers are
  • Have been attacking other stuff and not just mc providers, which hopefully means it’ll be shut down sooner
  • We’re optimistic after the improvements our provider is making currently that the issues should be behind us
  • Sorry multi will stay up for now! Thanks again for your patience!

Leak!

  • Working to release Imagine Fun Mod Pack on Modrinth and Forge to enhance your experience!
  • Combination of publicly available mods and one called Imagine Fun Utils that has stuff for our world
  • We’ve been developing a mod that’s a replacement for the screens system, which means you can use your shaders with our in game screens
    • Not saying this means any rides soon, need to make sure it’s stable first
  • No mods will ever be required, just things that enhance your experience

 

Magicpass Season

  • The season is coming to a close this week!
  • There will be a pause before the next magicpass as we’re revamping the entire process, super excited about that!
  • May be back for December, but there’s so much going on with the winter event in December that more likely the next season will be January
  • Will try to make it so you can claim older season’s unclaimed rewards

Can we please get an orange color for the longer bows? I have all the colors except orange and since it's October, hopefully there will be an orange one.
  • Don’t know if we’ll add that this month but will do
    • any chance the feature to organize titles by rarity (the percentage, not the epic/legendary etc) would be added somehow?
  • Can add that, but would you be down for me to add groupings to the titles (like how they’re obtained, Winter or Halloween, etc.)
    • any updates to the beauty and the beast items from last call? there's not even a loungefly or ears as far as i know of..

    • is there a way to add signatures to be searchable in lockers? like /lockersearch signature (character name)
  • No promises on that, it sounds terrifying but will see what we can do — hard because the formatting isn’t standardized
  • Can maybe show you any item that has lore in it (signed items and sabers mainly)
    • Will there be an NPC/in-game guide to explain the Halloween challenge?
  • Yes, there will be an NPC on the other side of Gaston for info about how the event works
    • Can we get Villain team stats? - Amount of players in each team - Maybe a graph showing how many are active every 5-10mins? - And a better idea on how active most teams are an hour before the 4pm PST reset.
  • Not sure how much we’ll release but it is progressing pretty balanced right now from what we’ve seen
  • Strongest overall villain by far is Hook, and also has the least amount of players by far (6x less players than Hades!)
  • If things get out of hand, we can give some groups a little bit of a boost
  • Also emphasizing that you’re not competing against the other villains for a grand prize, more-so working with your team to get all the rewards
    • will there be more rewards for each team besides title and ears?

    • Would it be possible to add the team icon next to a players nametag and/or in /profile?? Have had multiple instances of people asking "Is (insert name here) on this team?"
  • Thinking of putting it in tab
    • is there any way to search titles on the ah easier? bc i have to search through pages and pages to find the one i’m looking for even if i directly search it. same thing for warps and trails! and can we have the titles and emojis in two separate searches?

    • Say you weren’t on for the past few days for this event will you still be able to claim those rewards?

    • I dont know how hard this would be but dressing up the NPC's like Moe and all that for example in Halloween outfits?

  • Yes this is a long term plan with a lot that has to happen before that can exist, also don’t think every single ride has ride operators right now so we have to figure that out

  • Not color coded but every couple days, pretty frequent the same way we typically do for events
