Pin Trading Update

Pin Trading has dropped!

Adding at least 5 new locations and a new pin pack dropping in the coming weeks!

Networking issues

Apologies for all the up and down, we’re working to change our ISP to hopefully resolve these issues once and for all

Looking into options, moving the servers isn’t an easy option

Leaderboard Changes

Weekly and yearly stats leaderboards the same way there are for rides

Unfortunately can’t backport

Changing how we store leaderboards so that we have historical data going forward

Once we build up the historical data you’ll eventually be able to see how many weeks in a row someones been on the weekly LB for a ride

E.g., If you’re the top rider for BTM 3 weeks in a row, you’ll have a streak

Can you increase the character limit on storage labels?

Fine, will increase it to 30 but don’t make anything really ugly in chat or it’s going away again….

any ideas on the ability to change pin owner after the pin boards were added? IE: a npc that allows orginal pin owner's name to be changed to one's username?

Having a hard time deciding if we want to do this or not, feels like it kind of takes away from the people who did get all of them themselves? Unsure if we’re ever going to do this.

Is there more summer quests to come?

thoughts on making a trading system for the summer tokens so if they have extras but dont want to buy anything else to trade or give to others?

We’re going to stick with just adding all the OG past years’ summer items to a new shop, if people still have an influx of new tokens after that we can consider

do yall have any plans to prevent the boards from being locked as mints for a week+ like they were the first week? maybe decreasing the auto swap time for the mints?

If people are intentionally misusing the pinboards, will just revoke their access

could we get an update to Mad Hatter's shop that allows us to make customizable hats with our usernames either titled or on the back of the ears?

Unfortunately this is a Minecraft limitation and we can’t do stuff like this as much as we wish we could

Since the meetings moved to the main IF Discord server, is the IF Insiders still active?

Insiders is pretty dead honestly, not sure what we want to do with it if anything, might find a use for it someday

can we get a voting system for what update comes out next?

Probably not unfortunately

A lot of the time what we want to come out next vs. what is actually possible for us to release next does not match up, a lot of factors that go into things that change release dates or possibility for things to come out

could we possibly get a way to upgrade pin qualities?(well kept to minimal defects, minimal defects to mint, etc). i know that's a whole other discussion, but figured i'd ask if it could be considered or not

Maybe this is how you could change the name of the owner on the pins!

did you add a limit to the pink fans pushing ability?

potentially remove the "flight enabled" chat if ur in an area for a certain amount of time to allow chats like mng spots show constantly instead of rarely

Thank you for flagging that, will put flight enabled lowest priority so anything else that pops up will take priority over that

Anything that is the same quality or higher than the pin it’s replacing can be added to the board, rarities don’t matter just quality!

i heard we might be talking about Halloween, is there any little hints you can give for the theme?

Too far out to share just yet! For context, Disney starts Halloween pretty early but ours usually starts around October 1st

Is there a fix incoming for the connecting to audio achievement? Or is this something we need to make a ticket for?

Is Duos Cannonball still coming?

Yes, it was supposed to drop mid June but we realized that the event esplanade meant certain paths don’t exist anymore, so we postponed it and will run it between summer and Halloween

No progress to share at this time

Can DVC or IF+ get their own lounge?

Currently no plans to add, there is the C33+ lounges at the Starcade and Penthouse

Yes, Cam knows those are way long overdue, apologies a lot of things came up, will try to get that done this week just have to figure out sending it out to everyone

would it be possible to allow for old event pins to be on the pin boards again? i get why you got rid of the 70th pins for now but it would be nice to see some of the xmas and pride pins that people missed

Eventually we would like to get to a place where we can do that yes

Safe to say that everything that’s already been announced at this point has been looked at/worked on in some capacity

Cam said you can have enchanted pickles but they’ll cost 50K… and you’ll have to find the NPC where they’re purchased AND the NPC where they’re purchased is going to move every single day… Numbered pickles like the mystery boxes

We currently do not have a way to reset it without giving out the rewards infinitely

First step will be adding the indicator on the leaderboard that someone has a streak, after that, not sure

can we get some easy/medium parkours? it feels like all of them are hard except for mario and it would be nice for us less parkour savvy to have a couple more runs

Would consider Grizzly 1 medium after all the nerfs, can probably create some more things like the Mario parkour

Can you make receiving mail a /setting? ofc this would also disable raffles for that player.

The problem with disabling /mail is that currently a player’s settings don’t exist if they aren’t online, but mail does function for offline players (it’s the same for /ignore). In order to get mail and ignore to respect people’s settings we’d have to rework a lot of stuff first

Do have an update for profile coming that lets you see offline players

Can we get a pet name THREAD please for pet name suggestions?

Not today because this call has already gone on for so long, but in the future down to have a conversation about adding more pet names (did add all the Kpop Demon Hunter character names to it!)

Can we have a "Freaky Friday" event where you invert the server (either on X, Y, or Z axis) and let the chaos ensue... okay maybe on one server and not all of them

Cam has done this once before and like broke the whole server doing it

Could we have some way to filter rides by tag, since they're included in the /rides screen?

Don’t know where we’d put that button in the menu yet but sure

Someday, but for now press the “ride again” button at the exit

what happened to the timer for the magic crates?

Still exists, sometimes we just push an update right in the moment and don’t schedule it so the timer is shorter (like 20 min rather than a day)

Trying to get to a point where we have a long timer always but just not consistent

any updates on being able to favorite titles and have them at the top?

A few changes we have to make to the system but basically ready to release! It’s on standby for an upcoming week
