May 4th Event - Breaking it down

  • How things are progressing
  • The other lands definitely need some saving, especially Fantasyland!
  • I think you should somewhat organize a system to focus specific areas and make sure all lands get freed because there may be a prize involved when all of the lands get recovered
  • Next crate drops on Thursday, one quick leak:
  • Love hearing everyone’s favorite items!!
    • Huge shoutout to Alie, our Pixel Artist, and Liz, our modeler — both did a great job working on the control panel and everything else from this event!

STAR WARS PARKOUR

  • Join us later this month for an extreme parkour event… (it’s rough)
  • Lots of Star Wars-themed prizes and giveaways during the event

  • The Galaxy Edge patrolling NPC’s will remain after the event ends!

Rule update

  • We’ve recently become aware of people using macros to join raffles, etc. and are now cracking down on it and in the future will be handing out bans
  • You can use a hotkey as long as you’re the one pressing it, you just can’t have an automation where when the raffle comes up it just automatically joins

Schedule Update - poll

  • Rolled out 1.21.5 support and prepping to eventually update our base server version to 1.21.5

Any plans/ideas to do anything marvel related again? I know the marvel summer wont be returning, but any smaller scale events?
  • RELEASE DATE: APRIL 31ST
  • Serious note though, we’re always doing more Marvel stuff and releasing new Marvel things
    • Will there be any updates to out of date/bugged ride effects and visuals like on Pinocchio?
  • Let us know what things you’re thinking of! We’re aware of a few and will get them fixed
    • Is there a planned amount of Star Wars crates for this month? (or, how many crate refreshes can we expect?)

    • You mentioned lats call with cast member pin trading "they have to start with some pins don't they?" Are that first batch off pins only in there when they FIRST launch? Are will they're be "opening day pins" and a rotating set of pins that appear when they refresh

  • Could in the future! Not this year
    • can we expect the pin we trade with pin hoarder to get changed? ex: a common pin sometimes gives 10kc and sometimes it gives 1000kc, mint sometimes gives 3000k, sometimes it gives 10kc. Maybe an update where the rarity has a range when giving out kc. Mint (1000-3000) Stratched (500-300) for example

  • We had one person doing all account transfers, with a lot of other stuff on the plate, so it took a long time to process them and ended up taking more resources than we wanted to and wasn’t fun for anyone involved (e.g., not being able to play on a new account until the data gets transferred onto it)
  • Originally account transfers were supposed to be offered in rare instances like losing access to an account, but it became more frequent than we could keep up with We looked to other servers for guidance on how they handle it and felt like
    • can you explain a bit more about the 18 age requirement + the criminal record question towards the end of the application? I noticed it a few months ago and was wondering what it means
  • Age requirement is 16+ to be on staff, 18+ get asked the criminal record question for the sake of safety of those involved on the server — standard application question!
    • Update on the new meet and greet system?
  • Slinx leak: The first new M&G will be in the Grand Californian lobby
    • Is there any plans to add a creative plots world on ImagineFun? If so, how big would the plots be?
  • We won’t be adding creative plots, but you’ll someday get hotels! Kind of like a creative plot, but cooler!
    • is there anything at all that new star wars fans can expect this month? like anything at all lol
  • There’s a ton of stuff but I can’t tell you… that ruins the surprise!
    • Will we ever get more club penguin themed items like say some of the mascots such as Rockhopper?
  • Perhaps yes! Best place for item ideas is #suggestions! We save all of those :)
    • Any plans of releasing new pin packs?
  • 2 pin packs on the way right now that will be joining the regular rotation, not event pins! They will be part of Mint Magic
    • Will we ever get pin pack based off of IF original characters such as Tams, Pin hoarder, Wallie, ect.

  • Yes will definitely do in the future, but not the exact same as that one — have learned about how competitive things can be, what worked well and didn’t work well
    • is it still in the works to give different prices depending on the rarity of pets? (shibes/cats/llamas)
  • Yes
    • Will there be a limit to how many pins can be traded per NPC per allotted amount of time?
  • No limit will be imposed at the start, subject to change
    • are we gonna get a /chips command so we can see how many chips we have cause sometimes it doesnt show on the scoreboard
  • Scoreboard is fixed now, always checks when you login to make sure it’s updated
    • can we get a feature to tell how much of an item exists? like hovering over the item it would be like 61,202 Exist or like 4 Exist etc.
  • Would love to do something like this, but not feasible from a technical standpoint to upkeep and track well D:
    • can we have the ability to buy 3 months of IF+ instead of 1 month or 6 months?

  • Cam is at a loss of what to do with the market, definitely give some feedback and opinions. A few problems:
    • Market gets crowded with too much stuff nobody cares about and will ever buy — this is part of what the expiration fixed, kept it to somewhat relevant items
    • Some benefit in some things staying listed a lot longer
  • Cam’s idea: you can see every single thing on the server whether or not it’s listed so that you can see what’s been obtainable —
    • Will supply drops come back? (Ex: The ones that gave among us plushies)
  • Yes rly want to bring them back, someone said bring them back for Star Wars month and really trying to make that happen
    • how many of the mystery boxes are still unopened?

    • Can you PLEASE remove 1 year cooldown on IF+
  • We are working on a complete revamp of IF+ and will rework how the cooldown goes

    Oh one more leak for the theme park diehards:

    • Working on rides like Incredi and BTM having both boarding stations working, when your ride is ending it’ll go to whichever loading station is open
    • First BTM, then Incredi, then IASW whenever it comes out
