May 4th Event

• Going over the May 4th event and answering any questions people have
• Progress bars in Galactic Senate will be back at some point today… they were causing lag and Cam is finding a new solution
  • An update if you’re curious:

  

• You get one land emoji, not all (just your citizenship)
  • Have not yet decided if the land item emojis are redeemable (sellable/tradeable) or not
• Your factions will be revealed in time…
  • Once this happens, would recommend collectively focusing specific lands
  • There will be channels on Discord for each faction that you’re automatically put in
• Citizenship is based on ride time
• Thinking of adding a leaderboard for ride time:

  

• Multi cap is removed for this month and there is a new achievement for hitting 15x multiplier total — the cap will be back after the event
  • Will look at math on multi caps/overflow, might take a look at removing multi cap on first ride of the day depending how the logic works out
• Voting: you pick once and it uses all your available votes, you don’t have to click multiple times
  • To vote, go to your land’s senator NPC and click on it
  • Your vote worth counts all the work you do throughout the whole episode, so you can vote at the start of the episode and increase your vote’s “worth” by the end of the episode
• Currently there are no term limits on how many episodes you can be Senator for
• Senator is chosen based on the previous episode’s ride time, doesn’t stack up
  • You don’t miss out on items by not being Senator, the perks of being Senator are having a 3x multi and picking the cards… maybe a title
• Benefit of choosing a side: what faction you want to fight alongside, potentially tailoring rewards you get
  • Maybe some players will get an offer with benefits to switch sides….

May 4th M&G’s

• Lots of M&Gs this month! Schedule is quite full
• Most likely almost every M&G this month will be Star Wars related
• Certain characters will return, majority will be in PST afternoons and evenings
• Use your fastpasses wisely… there are definitely some days where there will be multiple M&Gs in a day
• Have your items ready when you’re in the queue and get organized with your group! It’s a huge help to move the line along faster so everyone can meet the characters :)
