Valentine’s Day

  • What did you think of the new event style?
  • Trying to find a balance between the locked in grind people and the ordinary players

Magic Pass Season 4! - Pixar!

  • Tweaked XP earnings
  • To clarify, it’s called season 4 although it was originally referred to as season 3, just the way things work internally with Valentine’s
  • If you have a voucher for “Season 3” from the mystery boxes, you are now able to use that voucher for any pass this year

TOM SAWYER ISLAND RAFT & CANOES

  • Thoughts? Opinions?
  • Tweaking paddling coming up — if you have multiple people in the boat, you’ll need multiple people paddling to get to max speed
  • No caves at this time but will reassess at a further time, didn’t have enough reference material
  • Psycho, we absolutely loved your videos
  • Achivements
    • Hopefully launching later this week or next week for both
  • Will be added to the multi pool starting this week as well

Adventureland Treehouse

  • Had some issues on the backend
  • Postponed to focus on more important projects at the moment
  • Not forgotten, you can still look at it just not walk in yet

Bug Fixes & Changelog

  • Trying to be more active and consistent in getting changelogs released
  • Same amount of work getting done, just forcing devs (and Cam) to actually label everything we work on so it ends up in a changelog
  • HOPEFULLY the chat crash bug is now fixed. Please let Cam know if you’re still experiencing it

Cannonball Duos!

  • Starting in April most likely
  • You + a partner must ride every ride in disneyland
  • Can be any order, you do not ride the rides at the same time
    • Just have to figure out most efficient path for one person in your team to ride each of the rides once
  • Lowest team time wins!

M&G Update launching soon!

  • Nara & Cam test M&G hopefully this week or next
  • Will be a test run to make sure the new system works and to find any bugs in it
  • Brainstorming solutions to queue NPC crowding

Server Upgrade

  • 70% through the migration. The big downtime the other week was one of the last large steps in getting the move completed
  • Servers are no longer in Nara’s flooded basement gg

1.19.4 Update - Challenges Ahead

  • 1.19.4 Update is here, already begun transforming the park
  • You will soon not be able to play on a version lower than 1.19.4
  • Cam thinks he’s fixed almost every toy now! A few more ride FX to fix up, but other than that looking pretty good
  • A lot of cool integration stuff in 1.21.4, we’ll eventually upgrade the server to minimum 1.21.4 but would have to fix a lot of stuff with that version beforehand. A couple months out before it’s up for discussion
  • F3 + B to turn on hitboxes, can see the giant hitboxes we have now on things like benches, quests

Host Server

  • Should also be back this week, broke in the 1.19.4 update
  • More hosted parkour events in the future
  • Will be updated to also support our hide & seek and other large scale events
  • Cam pranked the crowd… Be ready for Rise of the Resistance parkour next week….

any updates on pickles?
  • No!
    • If we decide to sell the mystery box for 100k at the end of the year, would we see what would have been in the box or would we forever be in the blind?
  • Originally was going to make it blind, but want menu to complete itself so it will say what your prize would have been
    • If you vote 200 times in a single month do you still get a free key?
  • No :(
    • If you buy IF merch and wear it in the parks, can you still submit a pic for an in game item?
  • Post it on BlueSky or Instagram and yes you can still claim if you do that!
    • Is the current DLRR issue a bug or a the new way it works? (If you hop on at main street and its just pulling out of the station you get no payout)
  • Definitely sounds like a bug, will take a look
    • With the addition of the ability to make custom tool tips part of a data/resource pack (added here- 1.21.2 24w36a https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/minecraft-snapshot-24w36a), is that something we can look forward to seeing on the server? It would be cool to see it utilized in pin packs or other collections of items. (pictures of similar things below)
  • Yes in the future, but that’s a little ways out
    • Will the Star Wars Launch Bay/Innoventions building be used for anything in the future? I know IRL it's now a DVC lounge, but I would love to see Innoventions or Star Wars Launch Bay and Marvel Showcase.
  • Carousel of Progress would be cool, no immediate plans… Maybe America Sings! We shall see

  • Nara’s dog barked a lot while she tried to answer, maybe the dog is the real villain
    • Any plans for more interactive ways to make money rather than just grinding rides
  • A lot of ways to make money from daily quests, weekly quests, parkour courses, minigames, achievements, etc. Already a lot of ways, but definitely down to hear other ideas you have! Great way to get starter money is to explore park and get exploration achievement rewards
    • will /lockersearch ever be able to include your ec?
  • Mayyyyybeeee… I guess…. But EC isn’t technically a locker!!
    • cam u mentioned you one day turning ednamode's bag into storage one day would you turn darla’s fish bag into one?
  • Nothing at this time, a long term project to redo all the storage systems on the server. Want to take it slow and make sure it’s done right, always being cautious when doing something that’ll affect people’s items on the server
  • Probably won’t turn the fish into a storage unit
    • Villains magic pass when?
  • No dates!
    • Can we get audio for canoes?
  • Yes that’s something in the works
    • If I can suggest an update to one of the items (Evil Queen's magic mirror), maybe change it to where it could like hover over the players shoulder or behind them completely?

    • will we ever get interactive leaderboards? this is from MCCI - you can toggle to your spot on the leaderboard, or just see your frieds stats which is nice
  • We are experimenting with an idea very similar to this right now
    • Have the haunted mansion fastpass dispensers moved? And will Rise ever get fastpass as well since there are scanners at the entrance?
  • HM FastPass will be back, machines are there now just not configured yet, got configured today and will be back as soon as build is pushed
  • Someday will end up doing a nice little update to Rise, including FastPass and everything

  • Always trying to find things to add to them, will see some new hats at some point!
    • there has been a thing where some people wont get payouts for rides, noticed that it was mostly on tsi and canoes but it did affect dlrr for some people at some point, is this a known bug?
  • Have not heard of Canoes not getting payout, rafts working out some quirks, DLRR one is unrelated to other 2
  • Rafts entire structure of how we track who’s on it is very different
  • To clarify on rafts payout: you must go there and back in one go to get the payout

  • Working on a fix, hopefully out soon
  • Highly recommend smoothcoasters now!! Unfortunately looking like forced perspective fix isn’t going to be possible, because Minecraft blocked all of the fixes we were looking into
    • any updates at all on a market QOL update?
  • Nothing at this time, really want to long term make it so it displays every item possible and you can click in to see what’s actually available (including views of items that don’t exist)
  • so you can create buy orders also so you can insta buy things you’re waiting on when people list them
  • LONG TERM Don’t ask about an update for this next stage call, won’t be by then

  • Should be a few days to a week turnaround when a new person enters the #1 spot
    • Last time a fan-made Pin pack idea was mentioned, will this be any time soon? or in the future?

  • Yes more secret achievements definitely in the works
    • Can we get a shop at downtown disney that has a KC shop, with ROTATABLE items daily? That updates on server reset.. like Voteshop but KC

  • Actually started putting one together, completely open to ideas, please put ‘em in this thread

    • Can you nuke the delay on buying a year of IF+ PLS
  • We are currently planning a large restructure on how IF+ and everything works, not at a point to talk about specifics, but will say there’ll be updates on the ranks and how it works. Happy to consider nuking that during these changes
    • any chance of updating the customer of the month board in Cali's 👀

    • Last time you said that we would get a brand new version of MyIF, do you have any details on that or maybe progress?
