- Our goal is to SPEEEEDRUN this call bc we have some fun stuff to do after

Lunar New Year event

- New visuals, new sound
- a setting to disable party messages sounds is coming too
Valentine’s Event
- Obviously a new type of event, just started, what are thoughts on the Event Pass?
- Different type of XP earnings
- experimenting with daily caps because we don’t want it to just be completed overnight, entire pass in 1 day
- caps will be lifted near end of event
- no hard cap, just soft cap where you keep earning but slows down after a certain amount of time (hours)
- very happy with progression thus far, easy for average player to complete before end of month
- Top 50 players have a good spread all the way from tier 8 to tier 4
Tom Sawyer’s Island
- As mentioned last time, we’ve been working on the Rivers of America update, including canoes, rafts to Pirates Lair at Tom Sawyer Island, and the island as a whole!
- Can paddle on the canoes!
- Still progressing on that
- Added ambient audio by
/w marktwain!
- Bridge will be interactive, dip and bob as you walk over it!
- Neat view!
- Been talking about doing interactive stuff like we have at Galaxy’s Edge, hidden items or smth of the sort
- Have a system set up that tells the transports whether they can go or not go depending on where the canoes are, so transports don’t run into canoes
- Mark Twain will not be rideable in the immediate future, big challenge so not presently looking at that, never say never though
- Expect some word on this very very soon!
MYSTERY BOXES
- 198 opened
- 65 remain unopened

- want to overhaul how we do storage items to make more, but is a long haul process not overnight
- e.g., santa toy bags, pin hoarder’s coffin backpack, popcorn buckets, etc. would be quite fun
- have to redo how we handle loungeflies to do this
Hardware problems
- we got a bad set of RAM :( you might have noticed that acting up when instances kept crashing
- got some replacements, now servers are back on there and chugging along!
- will be killing off the old ones shortly
- could easily fit the entire network on 1 of the machines, we have 3!
- quite happy with them now that it’s working!
RIDE QOL Updates
- Tiki room & Lincoln now have countdowns to next showing
- Racers now actually lets you out early
- GSS forced perspective should be fixed

Meet & Greet Changes
- After the convo we had in a stage call forever ago, we sat back with the feedback on what everyone liked, didn’t like, etc. and came to a conclusion that will work better for everyone hopefully
- nothing locked in, will continue to make changes over time
- Will be going live later this month
- Players will queue with their group
- there is a limit to the group size, but it’s on par with the group sizes we’ve been seeing (5 in addition to you, 7 if you have IF+)
- Books can be given to the NPC for a signature to be collected without waiting in queue
- might let you give 2 friends’ books too to keep it fair
- no more return visits
- no teleporting in additional people
- priority groups will require all group members to have priority
- not changing amount of fastpasses people get at this point in time
- Are going to experiment with giving out passes in the long-term to non-DVC, like 1 pass a month
- got some ideas for NPC crowding, still do recommend using command to join rather than clicking NPC
- working on making counter more accurate and also to be able to include the people in each group
- All we ask with this is that you give us a chance to see the system in place, will always continue to tweak it if it isn’t going well or if queues are going slower
- every change we’re making is with the intent to speed up the queue process
- Cam and Nara are going to do a M&G when it’s ready to go to show the system, see how things go, and smooth out any issues that arise

- yes, always adding new dailies, especially when new magic pass themes drop and new areas of the park open!
When should we expect the next cannonball? I’m really excited for the duo idea.
- No dates, but most of it is coded and will appear sometime probably after Valentine’s ends

- well can’t tell you that!
Is MyIF in progress right now?
- Great day: MyIF is once again dead, we will have a discord bot instead that you can add to your discord servers to see your stats
Loved the mystery boxes, would that be something that y’all would do again next year??
- Don’t know if we’ll ever do them again, part of what makes them fun is that it’s a 1 time thing
- will definitely do other stuff with similar idea, random little things like this, Walle’s Well

- Yes, sorry, those are coming soon, we’ve been swamped getting Valentine’s Day finalized

- Haven’t seen it yet, hopeful for it!

Out of any retro attractions not yet on IF, which one would you hope/want to work on next?
- Cam: not any dying to release, way more fun to focus on current park than retro

Thoughts on adding jolly trolly to retro?
- trolly path just doesn’t exist on the version of retro we’d been creating, so difficult with completely jumping time periods. will have to sit down and figure that out, but not a huge priority
how's the downtown disney looking? any updates on that?

- No specific reason, someday we may release them, maybe we won’t!

Update on pin book technical difficulties?
- Yes, don’t worry Cam fixed shift + right-clicking pins into pin book and in the process broke clicking + dragging in. Will fix that, sorry
any possibility of an auction house QOL update?
- Cam’s been cooking up a potential update, have an idea of how to approach
would you ever consider bringing back being able to buy stuff off the /ah while offline and picking it up at /w postal
- Not sure if we ever want to bring that back, super fun and cool to create

Will Tom Sawyer Island have a hidden quest line like with saving Ludwig soul?
- Probably not at launch, never say never
